Covenantal 

A promise or a contract initiated by God with humankind and steadfastly maintained by God. God has made many covenants with humankind as evidenced in the stories of Noah, Abraham, and Jacob. In Jesus Christ, a covenant was established in Christ's blood/the cup of wine at the Last Supper for the forgiveness of sin for all time and for all people.
