The 2010 Annual
Retreat and Synod took place Wednesday through Saturday,
April 28-May 1 at the Mountain Retreat of St. John the Baptist.
Unlike prior retreats, this year's retreats did not have
presentations and workshops nor were there guest speakers. Instead
there were periods set aside for reflection and discernment as the
Order considered how it might best live out its mission in the
future. The next retreat and synod will be Wednesday, May 4 through
Saturday, May 7, 2011. St. John's will again be the site.

Br. Ronald C. Grubb,
OCC, was ordained at Christ Reformed Church, United Church of
Christ, Shepherdstown, West Virginia, May 5, 2010, in the judicatory
of the Catoctin Association of the Central Atlantic Conference,
United Church of Christ.
